December 10, 2020- It’s official! My website is up and running and our book is out for the world to read! I have loved this process to become a published author and hope that whoever reads our journey is inspired in their faith and feels a renewed sense of hope.
As for an update on Jeff, he is recovering from recent sinus surgery. We love this time of the year, so we are trying to enjoy these precious moments, even when he has his days of feeling ill.
In September this year, Jeff celebrated 5 years since his transplant! We are so very thankful for all who have helped us get where we are today. I wake up daily so thankful to have him by my side. However, for both of us, it is a fine balance between being so very thankful for the amazing blessing of each new day together vs. lamenting over all that has happened and wishing Jeff felt back to 100%. The reality is, he may never get to that point, and we have to learn how to deal with that fact, acknowledge the pain, but rejoice in our thousands of blessings. We walk a fine line, but ultimately we must choose joy.
